Thoughts: Just to finish up the John Mayer discography, this EP is a pretty nice selection of acoustic versions of songs from Continuum, plus an in-studio take on the Try! track “Good Love Is On The Way”. While hearing these nice, stripped-down versions is cool, the problem is that Mayer is much better on an electric guitar and these songs have a lot more power with full backing. Probably the best track is “Belief”, with a 12-string guitar, so it has a little more depth to it, but other than that these songs are much better served on Continuum.
