New Bob Dylan Album?

In expectingrain.com's forums, there are a few rumors about a possible new album this year by Bob Dylan coming out. Personally, I think there's little to no truth to it. A lot of these rumors revolve around it coming out as early as April, which would just be impossible, especially with no official announcement by anyone in the Dylan camp.
Also being speculated is as to whether or not it will be a self-covers album, with Dylan reworking several of his most famous songs from the 1960s. This would be terrible. I think it wouldn't sell and would easily start making people think that he is done. I would rather have him put out another album at the level of Down In The Groove than him re-do his classics. He does it on stage, so why does he need to do it in the studio? If you want to hear reworkings of "Blowin' In The Wind", "The Times They Are A-Changin'" or anything else, you can just download a show from his Never Ending Tour. All the album would sound like is an in-studio Never Ending Tour-show. I'd rather have new material than anything like that.
